Create SUSAR/Review Item Workflow Process

The SUSAR Review Item workflow processes allow admins and editors to request from a selected set of users to review SUSAR documents and/or reports or to generally review a set of documents (in case of Review Item Workflow Process). To create this workflow process:

  • Go to Workflow Viewer in Workflow view and select Workflow Wizard.
  • In the first step of the wizard select SUSAR or Review Item from the list of workflow processes. You can:
    1. Select the study in which this process is created (only active studies are listed)
    2. Optionally modify the Workflow Description and Name
    3. Select the Workflow Category to which the new workflow process will be added
    4. Select whether this workflow process should be started immediately after its creation
    5. Specify whether or not to notify the workflow initiator upon process completion.
  • The SUSAR workflow process includes one task: Notify Reviewers. To move to the next step of the wizard click Next.
  • This step specifies the information required for the Notify Reviewers task:
    1. You should first select documents to be reviewed from the displayed content hierarchy. You can view the content of any document in the hierarchy by clicking on it and the document will be displayed in the document viewer.
    2. After you select at least one document, the list of persons (required to review the selected documents) is enabled for selection. The list of persons is displayed by Organization, where you can mark required reviewers and click on Add to add them to Recipients list. You can add more selected documents and reviewers to the recipients list. Additionally, you can delete any entry in this list by selecting the entry to be deleted and clicking on Delete. Furthermore, you can export the content of the recipients list to a CSV file by clicking Export.
    3. You can add a customized message that will be appended to the notification message (to be sent to selected reviewers), select signing due date, and the frequency of email reminders sent to reviewers. To move to the final step click Next.
  • The final step of the wizard provides workflow summary. Click Finish to conclude the wizard and create the workflow process.
